Recently, ST Microelectronics’ (creator of the optical mouse) chief technologist announced the impending extinction of the four way rocker switch that lets people point and click on countless devices, and usurps approximately 30 sq. mm of valuable mobile real estate(cnet.com, March 25, 2010). We own unique patents that enable assimilation of a mouse as small as 1 square millimeter.
Our’s miniature pointing and digital control device has greater capabilities than the touch pad, while requiring only a tiny fraction of the space – approximately 1 sq. mm. This electronic tracking device can also be used as a switch or control, enabling mobile product producers to replace larger buttons and mechanical switches. We have no moving parts, is incredibly durable, and can be placed on any part of the device, including the back or sides and monitoring app.
